The C-4 Sessions Are Live — and MWHQ Just Crossed 489 Videos

Two things worth telling you about this week. The first is a new Shorts series that's already live on the channel. The second is a number that snuck up on us while the factory was running.

The C-4 Sessions Are Dropping Now

The newest run on the M.U.S.I.C. World HQ channel is the Sir Leslie Jennings & C-4 studio series — a set of recording-room Shorts built around the working relationship between artist and producer. Not polished promo footage. Studio footage. The part most people never get to see.

Clips 01 through 05 are already published, and more are queued behind them. If you want to understand how a track actually gets built at MWHQ — the takes, the decisions, the moments where something clicks — that's what this series is for. Watch them in order. They read differently that way.

489 Videos and Counting

Here's the number that matters: the M.U.S.I.C. World HQ channel now holds 489 published videos.

That didn't happen because we got lucky with one viral moment. It happened because the pipeline runs whether or not anybody's watching that day. Content gets generated, published, and distributed on a schedule — every week, without exception. Volume is not the goal by itself. Volume plus consistency is what builds a catalog, and a catalog is an asset you own.

Most independent artists never get to 489 of anything. Not because they lack talent — because they lack a system. That's the whole difference.

Why Shorts Still Matter

Short-form is still the cheapest distance between an unknown artist and a new listener. A Short costs you sixty seconds of someone's attention instead of asking for four minutes up front. It earns the right to the longer conversation.

So we treat Shorts as the front door — not the afterthought. Every artist on the MWHQ roster gets the same treatment: consistent visual content, published on a rhythm, feeding back into the music and the store.

What's Coming

More C-4 clips through the end of August. New artist content across the roster — Love Group, Aiko Doun, Azia Blac, and Megan Muni all have material moving through the pipeline. And the Academy keeps expanding on the same schedule the channel does.

If you've been meaning to subscribe, do it now. The best stuff is the stuff you catch as it drops.
