The Room and the Keyboard
The four regions of the Studio window, the five shortcuts that carry ninety percent of a session, and setting the project clock before you generate anything. You will navigate a full project without touching the mouse.
Level 1 takes you from "I have a Premier subscription and I opened Studio once" to "I can build, edit, and export a complete multitrack song." No prior production experience is assumed. Every session ends with something on a timeline.
The level ends with a finished multitrack exported to your own drive — a portfolio piece, not a certificate.

Instructing the chat bar concretely enough to stop wasting generations. Playing without hardware using musical typing. Fixing notes, timing and velocity in the piano roll so a part sounds performed rather than programmed.
Splitting any mix into aligned stems and judging the result honestly. The factory effect set and exactly where the plugin limit sits. And the ninety-second export habit that keeps your work yours regardless of your billing.
We open by drawing the boundaries of the tool — what Studio is, what it costs, what it runs on, and the four things it will not do, stated on day one rather than discovered in week four. Then you open a song you already made, learn the transport by keyboard, and start instructing the chat bar in language it can actually use. From there: Take Lanes and why you should commit late, importing your own material, what MIDI actually is, musical typing, the piano roll, stem separation, and the factory effects.
By the end you can open a project and navigate it by keyboard, generate parts that belong in your arrangement, build around material that is unambiguously yours, edit notes and velocity so a part reads as played, separate any mix into stems, and export a 32-bit multitrack every session as a habit.
Everything in Level 2 assumes the fluency built here — you cannot design a wavetable patch before you understand MIDI, and you cannot use a MIDI clip as a generation prompt before you can write one in the piano roll. Level 1 is the foundation the rest of the ladder stands on.
This level is right for you if you have a Premier subscription and Chrome, and either no production experience at all or a year of generating on Suno and a growing frustration with the ceiling of the prompt box. Both start in the same place.
Level 1 follows the same Academy pricing standard used across the live Academy ladders.

Twelve sessions, each ending with something on a timeline, and a final project that is a complete multitrack exported to your own drive. Level 2 then moves you from operating Studio to directing it — sound design, automation, and the two features that exist nowhere else in music software.
