Academy / RipX Ladder / Level 1

RipX AI DAW: AI Music Foundations

Level 1 is where you learn what RipX actually does — and why it is the only AI music tool that lets you edit separated stems at the individual note level. Over 12 sessions, you will go from your first rip to a complete post-production workflow: quality assessment, pitch correction, formant adjustment, stem export, and DAW integration. By the end, you can take any AI-generated track and turn it into a set of production-ready stems.

Stem Separation Fundamentals

Learn RipX's four-stem and six-stem separation modes, quality tier settings, and how to assess every separated stem before investing editing time in it.

Note-Level Editing

Use the Note Editor to correct pitch, adjust formant, and remove artifact noise at the individual note level — capabilities no competing stem separation tool offers.

DAW Integration Workflow

Export production-ready stems, load them into your primary DAW, and understand where RipX fits in the complete MWHQ AI music production pipeline.

What You'll Cover

From first rip to production-ready stems in 12 sessions.

The 12 sessions build in sequence: you start with installation and interface orientation, then run your first rip and assess the result. Sessions 5 through 8 cover the core editing operations — layer controls, analytical listening, note-level pitch correction, and formant adjustment. Sessions 9 through 12 move into export, AI music separation as a professional discipline, DAW integration, and a capstone production that walks through the complete MWHQ pipeline from AI generation to stem delivery.

By Session 12, you can reliably separate an AI-generated track, assess stem quality, apply pitch and formant correction, export stems to a naming convention, and integrate them into a DAW session template. That is the complete Level 1 production capability.

Where This Level Fits

Level 1 is the foundation everything else builds on.

Level 1 gives you the RipX interface fluency and workflow fundamentals that Level 2 assumes as prior knowledge. When you move to Level 2 — Creative Control and Workflow — you will work with Ultra quality settings, six-stem separation, note-level drum editing, vocal re-timing, and remix production. Those sessions require the Level 1 foundation.

This level is right for any producer who generates AI music using Suno, Udio, or a similar platform and wants to turn those generations into professional-quality stems. No prior RipX experience is required. Working knowledge of a DAW is helpful but not mandatory.
