Level 1 takes you from zero to independent patch creation on the Korg Minilogue XD — one of the most capable analog synthesizers available under $700. Twelve sessions cover every control on the front panel, all six voice modes, the complete signal path from oscillators through filter and envelopes, the LFO, the 16-step sequencer with motion recording, the effects section, and library management. By Session 12, you build any patch type from an initialized state without reference.

The 12 sessions cover the Minilogue XD's complete feature set in deliberate sequence: physical orientation, all six voice modes (POLY, UNISON, DUO, CHORD, MONO, ARP), oscillator architecture and wave shaping, the two-pole resonant filter, dual envelopes (EG1 amplitude + EG2 filter/pitch), LFO with three modes and four wave shapes, the 16-step sequencer with real-time and step input, the effects section, and complete library management using the Korg Sound Librarian.
By the end of Level 1, you build any patch type from initialized state, program a sequence with motion data, and record a complete production session — without consulting any reference material. That is the standard.

Level 1 builds the foundation that Level 2 requires.
Level 1 establishes physical and technical command of the instrument. You leave with 12 original patches, a functioning library architecture, and the ability to build sounds deliberately rather than by accident — the prerequisite for Level 2's Multi-Engine, motion sequencing, and DAW hybrid workflow.
This level is right for any Minilogue XD owner who has not yet developed confident, independent patch-building capability — whether you have owned the instrument for a week or two years.
